I only just heard about Nick’s passing a few days ago. I hadn’t seen him for more than 20 years, but it was still very upsetting to hear the news. I have very fond memories about the pub quiz in Manchester (“Spillage” by The MinuteMen), where Nick was always “scribe”. Nick was just about the happiest person I have met. He radiated goodness, cared about his family and friends, and the world in general. My thoughts go out to you, Jenny. And the girls too, of course. Goodbye, my erstwhile friend.
